Pick where you pay tax and toqe re-learns the language and the maths — what the tax is called (VAT, IVA, USt, TVA, GST), who collects it (HMRC, the IRS, Agencia Tributaria), and how much of each payment to hold back, estimated from that country's real rates and charges. Ten countries have built-in recipes — the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Greece, the US, Canada and Australia — and everywhere else sets a flat rate. A planning estimate to set money aside — not tax advice, and never a filing figure.

toqe already knows every invoice's contents — the days worked, the rate, the studio's details, the reference number. One click assembles a print-perfect A4, in the studio's own currency, and the payment clock starts ticking toward a nudge. Deposits net off the total, pass-through expenses ride beside day rates, long jobs can bill month by month — and a drawn, typed or uploaded signature inks the sheet.

Governments across Europe are phasing in mandatory e-invoices — structured files, not paper shaped like PDFs. toqe picks the right format from your tax country and builds it into every export. No add-on, no per-document fee, no third-party portal.

EN 16931 (European Union): every export carries the EU standard’s structured XML of itself, validated against the official KoSIT rules. Factur-X (PDF/A-3 hybrid): the print-perfect A4 for people, the embedded machine XML for software — veraPDF-clean. XRechnung 3.0 (Germany): billing a public body lifts the profile, Leitweg-ID and all. Facturae 3.2.2 (Spain): Spanish invoices export as Facturae XML, signed XAdES-EPES on the desktop with your own certificate.
